Relearn 2017

In 2017 I helped co-organise another edition of Relarn. This edition took place in the Poortgebouw, a legalized squat, living community and cultural centre.

Several days of communal cooking, making a pad for everything, eating, writing with xmpp-bots, observing the weather, doing git versioning on paper, making tracks and doubting tracks, taking care of daily special tasks, setting up a local network, setting up a local server called complex.local, sharing research, asking what the point is, 🌩, doing not-so-utopian readings, touring both the space and the tools, impromptu charger repair, having great lunch by a local catering co-op, reroaming, designing headlessly, discussing the relearn format, deciding on open questions, hello worlding, making live visuals from the terminal during a dj set, going through the program, test, baking a cake without Google or Super Market, turning etherpads into executables, hanging out, making quines, discussing care and making many annotations

For a good documentation of Relearn 2017 and reflections on the Relearn practice, have a look at Networks Of One’s Own Vol II, either in print or on-line.
